About RJ45

The same principles since 2009.

Founded in 2009 by Doron Shmaryahu and Riaan du Toit with a team of six in a warehouse in Paarden Eiland, on a simple idea: build the IT company the industry was missing.

Our story

Built on relationships that outlast the contract.

2009 — Paarden EilandFounded with a team of six in a modest office inside a warehouse.
Growth across South AfricaStrong industry relationships and consistent delivery expand the client base — many early clients are still with us.
Beyond our bordersClients in multiple countries, including an energy-sector business in the United Kingdom and a long-standing client in Namibia.
Today — The Vineyards Office EstateNetworking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud and managed IT for medium and large organisations, delivered internationally.

We set out to create an IT company where long-term relationships, technical excellence and client satisfaction would always come first. Over the years we've grown into a trusted technology partner serving organisations across South Africa and beyond. Many of the clients who partnered with us in our early years remain valued customers today.

Today we support clients across the enterprise, commercial and energy sectors in multiple countries. Distance changes the logistics, not the standard: the same engineers, the same response targets, whether the site is in Cape Town, London or Windhoek.

Our people remain our greatest asset. We invest in certification and keep teams together, so the person who designed your network is still the person who fixes it three years later.

Since 2009, backed by a combined 75 years of industry experience across the team, we have stayed committed to the principles that have driven our growth from day one.

Corporate social responsibility

Some of what we build isn't billable.

Business success carries a responsibility to make a positive impact. As a proudly South African organisation we contribute time, resources and expertise to causes that create meaningful change — through sponsorships, donations, community outreach and partnerships with non-profits.

Home from Home Transforms the lives of vulnerable children through nurturing family environments and access to essential support. We support their work in tailored care, therapeutic intervention, tutoring and mentorship.
Oasis Association Creates opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities through vocational training, employment programmes, day-care centres and residential facilities — fostering dignity, inclusion and personal development.
Learn to Earn Transforms lives through education, skills development and entrepreneurship. The organisation has equipped thousands of South Africans with market-related skills and pathways to economic independence.
Phusu — SANParks Adopt-a-Rhino We sponsor Phusu through the SANParks Adopt-a-Rhino Programme, contributing to the protection of South Africa’s rhino population and the conservation work that safeguards them.
TEARS Animal Welfare We raised over R18,000 for the TEARS Sleepathon and donated blankets, food and toys in support of their ongoing animal welfare programmes.
Fisantekraal Animal Welfare Supported since 2013 through infrastructure work — facility enhancements, covered areas, paving and site upgrades. In 2015 we funded the redevelopment and paving of an entire parking facility, improving accessibility and safety.
DARG — Domestic Animal Rescue Group After a series of security incidents at the DARG shelter in Hout Bay, we donated and installed new computer hardware and software to restore their operational capability.
Cart Horse Protection Association We provide ongoing monthly support to the CHPA Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre, funding care and rehabilitation for sick and injured cart horses, horses awaiting adoption, and mares with foals.
Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary Supported since 2013. Having sponsored Thabo through his retirement, we now sponsor Jasper — funding his feed, medical care and general wellbeing.

Doing it properly since 2009.

If that's the kind of technology partner you're looking for, we should talk.
